I'm working on perfecting 3
sets of plans on how to build a small-size pull-back and self-propelled sled
for garden tractors and/or small wheel mini rods, and a medium-size
self-propelled sled for mini trucks, big wheel V8 mini rods, stock 4x4 trucks
and classic/antique farm tractors. The plans will include that all sleds
will be 100% safe, durable and reliable, too. I have work to do in my shop
and sometimes I work on my sled plans at night. As soon as they're completed,

By the way - the self-propelled garden tractor pulling sled that I personally built in 1995 (sold in 2021) is such an excellent design, when other pulling clubs copied it and made their own sled, this made me realize that I created something very special. This shows the intelligence and ingenuity of the creator. As a matter of fact, many professional and experienced pullers hailed the sled I built as "the best sled they ever pulled." The sled I built is still in use today. FYI - The reason I have never made any YouTube videos is because I stutter. I'm afraid the viewer's mockery and negative comments would take all the educational benefits and fun out of them.

All sleds will be built and thoroughly tested to be 100% safe, for durability
and reliability. Sleds can be built with only one weight box or dual weight
boxes.
A dual weight box pulling sled is a highly versatile weight transfer machine designed to adapt quickly to different pulling tractor weight classes without requiring a completely separate and bigger sled. By using two independent weight boxes that can either act solo or coupled together, the operator can efficiently scale the sled's mechanical resistance across both lightweight and heavy tractor classes. We don't build junk! Sleds will be designed to start easy, pull smoothly and sure to stop. Sleds will be well-thought-out and well-engineered, designed with functionality and style, have a nice appearance, painted metallic or color of your choice, and function like one should. A high quality, reliable sled is exactly what sets a premier club apart. It'll be the envy of most other pulling clubs. Buyer/purchaser can test sled with their personal garden pulling tractors or mini-rods on our 200 ft. dirt track. A minimum 50% deposit is required for all sled purchases.
No shipping or delivery of any sled. All sleds can be towed on the road (like a trailer), hauled on a large, sturdy utility trailer, roll-back truck, or towed with a mobile home toter with a 3 position hitch.

Pull-Back (non-motorized) Pulling Sled for Garden Tractors and/or Small Wheel Mini Rods -
This sled will require a
compact-size pull-back tractor. This sled will be professionally engineered
so weight box(es) will have a total of 9 selective travel speeds. The weight
box rails will be slanted upward 5º for gravity roll-back. It'll have
an open canopy top, windshield, comfortable swivel seat with arm rests and
head rest,
Agri-Tronix
ATC Sled Monitor Electronic Measuring System and all transmission controls
within easy reach for the operator. It'll also have hydraulic foot pedal
brakes for stopping power and single automotive rear end with new All-Terrain
6 ply tires. Overall length: 12 feet.
Self-Propelled (motorized) Pulling Sled for Garden Tractors and/or Small Wheel Mini Rods -
This sled will be professionally
engineered to have a new and reliable V-twin engine with a V-belt torque
converter drive system/drivetrain. The weight box rails will be slanted upward
5º for gravity roll-back. Weight box(es) will have a total of 9 selective
travel speeds. It'll have an open canopy with a windshield, comfortable swivel
seat with arm rests and head rest, steering wheel,

Self-Propelled (motorized) Pulling Sled for Mini Trucks, Big Wheel V8 Mini Rods, Stock 4x4 Trucks, and Antique/Classic Farm Tractors -
This sled will be professionally
engineered to have a rebuilt and reliable
"old school" stock small block Chevy V8 engine with
Cherry Bomb glasspack mufflers and drivetrain up front.
Weight box will be one-piece and will have a total of 4 selective travel
speeds with ground-engaging grouser bars. Also, unlike most other "level"
full-size sleds when the weight box "tops out" and suddenly and violently
"slams into" into the bump stops from high speed pulling vehicles at the
end of the pull, which can disrupt operator's comfort and possibly damage
the drivetrain and hitch, ours will have the weight box rails slanted upward
3º to prevent this from ever happening, and can be pulled back by hydraulic
power or rolled back by gravity. It'll also have an enclosed [excavator]
cab with a steering wheel, comfortable swivel seat with arm rests and head
rest, cooling fan, air conditioning,

easy reach for the operator. It'll have a powerful killswitch motor, hydraulic
foot pedal brakes for stopping power, and tandem 1 ton dually truck rear
ends with new 10 ply tires. It'll be for use with 3,000± lb. mini trucks
(Chevy S10, Ford Ranger, etc.), 3,500± lb. big wheel V8 mini rods, stock
4x4 pulling trucks, and 3,500-8,500 lb. antique/classic farm pulling tractors.
Overall length: 25 feet. Total weight of sled fully loaded with weights:
